SCHMRT Inc Reporting
Based in Northern California, the Shasta Cascade Hazardous Materials Response Team (SCHMRT) is a multi-agency and multi-jurisdictional emergency response team which serves six counties in Region III.  The Shasta County Fire Department serves as the lead agency for SCHMRT.

SCHMRT is comprised of fifty (50) skilled hazardous materials technicians and specialists from various agencies and departments, including law enforcement, fire service, and public health.
